The National Anti-Ragging week started at Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT), Sukana, Siliguri on 12th August 2023. Swami Shivapremananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri inaugurated this event. Sri Mithun Chakraborty, Principal, SIT delivered a speech on Anti-ragging. The Police Official narrated the demerits of ragging and how it is a criminal offence. Swami Shivapremananda delivered a motivational speech to the students and appealed to them for adaptation of Swamiji's Values in their life. Apart from 110 students, faculties of SIT and staff have participated in the event. In the end book on Swami Vivekananda Life And Teachings, Swamiji photos and folders distributed, as complementary gifts among the students.
