This year, the worship of the Divine Mother went on well in our Jalpaiguri Ashrama with due solemnity. It was 63rd year of Durga Puja at Jalpaiguri. During the Puja period, more than 28000 people visited the Ashrama to pay their obeisance to Divine Mother and 15000 visitors received cooked Prasada on Saptami, Ashtami and Navami. Revered Swami Jnanalokanandaji Maharaj chanted Chandi Path. Devotional songs had been performed by monks and local artists throughout the celebration. On Dashami, a drama "Swamijir Jivant Kumari Puja" was performed by hostel students.
