Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri

Inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s clarion call for work and worship, service to mankind, and self-realization, a study circle was founded in a rented house at Jalpaiguri Town in 1928 and shifted to Tambari , now Ashrampara in 1933 in the form of an Ashrama and affiliated finally in 1941 by the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, P.O- Belur Math, Dist- Howrah, Pin- 711 202, West Bengal and became the most important branch centre of North Bengal.
